Conspiracy

The ultimate conspiracy of a one world government is nothing new. The ‘New World Order’ is an ambition dreamed of since the dawn of mankind.

Every great empire of history has attempted to rule the entire earth.

This ambition has never ceased to exist.

Only technology for instant global communications and surveillance increases its proximity, according to George Orwell’s principled observations.

George Orwell's nightmarish visions of dystopia are synonymous with what intellectuals frame as secret groups of power elites scheming behind the scenes to control human populations.

However most do not religate Orwell to a mere paranoid commentator.

Orwell’s credibility may sprout from the confidence he had to name an actual year

1984

Written approximately 40 years prior [to the date of the book’s title] Orwell made his perceptions directly measurable.

Likely Orwell did not intend for predictive accuracy to be the prime issue.

The book’s title confidently offers the idea of measuring its own assertions, the kind of confidence born of a preference to be proved wrong. In 1984 it became possible to measure how much closer the world had come to Orwell’s vision.

Whether it had in fact become closer.

As an observer of war he simply recognised the irrefutable connection between technology as an enabling tool for inevitable tyranny.

Orwell (real name Eric Blair) showed little partiality for political spectrums. Employed by the BBC as a commentator during World War 2 [and as a volunteer soldier of the Spanish civil war] Orwell had reduced and refined his perceptions concerning the organising of human society.

The first world war was considered by some (who fought in it) to be the end of ‘warriors honour’. Due to the developing technologies of war.

This principle is directly depicted in the devastatingly beautiful [if some what soap opera like] cinema of Edward Zwick’s films  ‘The Last Samurai’, ‘The Legend’s of the Fall’, ‘Defiance’. ‘Glory.’ Although portraying different conflicts all these epic cinema classics contrast rural life, the forrest, the frontier wilderness with the technological terror of 19th & 2oth century war.

Plebians in ancient Rome, Peasants in feudal medieval Europe questioned their lot in life. Peoples throughout the history question why lords, kings, pharaohs, tsars get to rule over them.

This is the original conspiracy.

Aside from criminal conspiracy under the law. In recent times the notion of ‘conspiracy’ or ‘conspiracy theory’ has been associated with one side of the political spectrum.

The right, or far right.

‘Far reaching right wing conspiracy theory’ is a term used prevalently in journalism.

Communism and Republicanism have their roots in the notion of overturning an elite class, a conspiracy of power. The overthrow of the Russian Royalty the Romanov family, ushered a century of a different style of governing an attempt at rule ‘by the people’. Chinese intellectuals upset with the terms of the treaty of Versaille began a movement leading to a century of communist China. The French Revolution. The creation of the modern USA as an alternative to the British empire another attempt at so called rule ‘for and by the people’.

Orwell’s penchant for considering dystopia a natural inevitability of a technologically enabled ruler class, may also make his perspective more palatable, as it does not require a group of evil conspiring villains. It is more a conspiracy of inevitable outcomes. Big brother is in a sense without the cult of personality, more purely a personification for the power of the state.

Ancient Chinese general Sun Tzu recognised in his Art of War manifesto that "all war is based on deception". Easily comported to the understanding that hidden knowledge is the harbinger of strategic advantage.

Taken literally and scientifically this is obvious.

If the technologies of modern warfare had been made available to any ancient warlord they would become invincible in their time.

As an extrapolated principle it suggests that development of technology, at its vanguard, remains withheld from general understanding – so as to maintain the advantage. This explains why if there are technologies; able to affect the weather, or remove personnel and equipment from the scope of visibility, these technologies would unlikely be very quickly made public knowledge.

Thus the progress of technology itself increases the strategic need to hide it. Viola ! Conspiracy.

The 'all seeing eye' - 'big brother' is also a component of Tolkien's fantasy.

In Tolkien’s realised rural homestead “the Shire” one relative, hands over his abode and all his worldly goods to his nephew, without the need for written contracts.

He simply states it.

The notion that every person simply deserves a place to live without the need for indemnification Is also reminicent of Ursula le Guin’s idealism, common eating halls the perception of a right to exist with means, substenance and abode.

The name for a remote device for Sauron’s eye is the Palantir.

These are used as names for real world equivalent technologies.

The Gandalfs and Saurumans are Bill Gates,

Elon Musks, Mark Zuckerbergs.

The Mordors are Epstein Islands.

The Hobbits are all filthy with the Shirus.

Whether there are groups such as the Bilderbergers, the CFR, Elders of Zion, The 13 families of the illuminati and what they stand for are perhaps not so important.

Perhaps what is more important is how aware we are of our changing relationship with technology on a personal level. Crypto currency in the Metaverse.

Whether there is an off switch.
